Many people say that there is something special about Fremantle. Not only is it a vibrant and culturally rich suburb, but also boasts a wide variety of sights and experiences.

If you only have a day or two in Perth, I would make this area your number one destination. On a Sunday, Fremantle comes alive with families, tourists and locals often meeting at the famous markets where craft stalls display many of the local handycrafts. The famous Leeuwin II sailing ship also sails out of Fremantle harbour on its many voyages.

On a nice day you may also like to explore the waterfront area with a stroll along the many docks. You can also sample a variety of fresh local seafoods and get a locally brewed pint at the Little Creatures brewery around the corner.
